Susanne Sievers ist in der Formation „Swinging on the Gate“ hauptsächlich mit
ihrer Fiddle präsent, ab und zu greift sie aber auch zum Akkordeon oder lässt
ihre Stimme hören. Sie erhielt eine klassische Geigenausbildung, entdeckte
später die Folkmusik verschiedener Länder und spielte u.a. Klezmer, Irish Folk
und Bluegrass in verschiedenen Bands.
Susanne Sievers’ main instrument with “Swinging on the Gate” is the fiddle, but
she also plays the accordion and has a sweet singing voice.
After having a classical education on the violin she later discovered the folk
music of various countries and played other styles such as Klezmer, Irish Folk
and Bluegrass with different bands
